CAC Ibudo Iyanu is an eventual result of the divine call of our father in the Lord Late Pastor J. B. Afolbi. The Lord had been calling on him for some time, but finally surrendered himself to the great God in 1983, when he registered as a Trainee Evangelist under the tutelage of Prophet S. K. Abiara of C.A.C. Agbala Itura Ibadan and the present C.A.C General Evangelist. He was under training till 1986 during the period he posted to C.A.C Agbala Itura, Oke- Odo, where he was ordained in the same year 1986 as an Evangelist.

The planting of Ibudo Iyanu was not man’s plan but divine plan of God. After leaving Agbala Itura for prayer at Mount Olorunkole where he spent three months where the name was giving by God directive as C.A.C Ibudo Iyanu. At the end of the three months prayer on Mount Olorunkole with prayer and fasting, from the mountain he received the directive from God to plant a church, and one man was moved by the power of God and decided to volunteer a piece of Land for the Church at Abule Iroko Ajegunle near Sango Ota in Ogun State. A lot of people were touched and hence they put all the necessary structures in place within a short period. After six weeks on his land, on the 7th Friday (vigil), the man who gave the land for the Lord’s use changed his mind and chased them out of his property, they left that very night and eventually became a guest to a child of God, Bro F. Egbedoyin ( Now a Pastor) who gave them a temporary accommodation on his property at23, Sadiku Street, Off Ekoro Road, Abule Egba. This was January 1988 where we spent four good years.  We thank God Almighty for a lot of miracles He has done in this ministry.  We also appreciate the children of God that truly stood by late Baba Afolabi in his time in the ministry.

This present land was got through the help of Bro. F. Egbedoyin (now a Pastor) and Bro Ogedengbe (now a Pastor and Special Assistance to Governor Fasola of Lagos State on Christian Religion matter).  I will never forget the unquantify effort of the secretary of this commission in person of Bro. E. O. Ogunnusi (now Pastor E. O. Jonathan), former financial secretary late S. O. Adeleye, late Segun Opeibi (former choir master), former church treasurer in person of Bro. Dele Afolabi (now a pastor) and honourable S. O. Fajinmi also a former secretary.  They all contributed wonderfully. We appreciate their love and concerns for this ministry up till date may God continue to bless them. By the power of anointing working on this mountain many lives have been set free from the hands of Satan till today and God will continue to do more in Jesus name.

Baba left the mantle and gave up the ghost to the owner on that faithful afternoon November 18th 2003, after the 15th years anniversary of this ministry, it seemed the world has come to the end, carnally many believed that was the end of Ibudo Iyanu but the word of God says “on this mountain I will build upon my church and the gate of hell shall not prevail over it” Matthew 16:18) at this period God manifested His power and delivered us as God transferred the mantle to our then Assembly Pastor in per of Pastor M. A. Ajumobi who is now the planter of C.A.C Orisun Ire Gbogbo, God also used him greatly before the C.A.C Authority granted him the transfer to C.A.C Orisun Ire Gbogbo Abule Oko in Ogun State in October 2007. Immediately this Baba left, it nearly turned to the collapse of this church when most members, Deaconess, Elders and nearly almost all the ministers both ordained and trainees left, in fact this lead to a lot of problems and by His grace we overcome. After this, the Ikole Ekiti branch pastor in person of Pastor Sola Aduragbemi came in as the D/S till the last Sunday in the month of August 2009 when he was asked to go and overseas his new planted church C.A.C Oluwa Olorun Awon Omo Ogun sited at AIT Road. At this point another terrible disaster that led to emptiness of the church, when more than half of the congregation went with the pastor. At this period everybody was at the state of confusion. However the owner of the church (God of host through the power of Holy Ghost) came in and shut everybody’s mouth. The mantle has then been handed over by the owner of church to himself through the little kid Israel Oluwagbemiga Afolabi.

We thank God Almighty for His help, love and uncommon mercy. Briefs on C.A.C Ibudo Iyanu would not be completed without Appreciating the efforts of My Grand Father in the Lord in person of Prophet S. K.Abiara (Agbala Itura), my father and mother “true parent” in person of Prophet and Prophetess Moses Ibrahim Olagunju (C.A.C Agbara Olorun Ni Ngbani), my father in the Lord Pastor E. O. Odejobi (Transfiguration Hill), Pastor & Evang. f. Egbedoyin, Evang. & Lady Evang. Ojo Ade, Grandpa Pastor Ezekiel Oki, Rev. S. O. Ogedengbe, My understanding wife Evang. Olayinka Afolabi, all the Pastors, all Evangelists, all the church Elders, all Deaconess, all Good women, all the Christian Men, My Wonderful Youth, all the Church Workers both at the headquarter and all the branches, all the children of this great commission home and abroad and finally, i once again seize this opportunity to thank all who has contributed positively to the progress and growth of this ministry, the God of Late Baba Afolabi will bless you and continue to create for you a space in eternity in Jesus Name.
